This guide walks you through your first launch, from empty account to live listing. If you want the deeper strategy (timing, assets, promotion), pair it with our Product Launch Checklist.

1. Create an account

Sign up with email or Google. Your account gives you a maker profile, a dashboard for your products, and the ability to vote and review other launches.

2. Prepare your listing

Good listings get more votes and clicks. Before you submit, have ready:

  • Logo: square, at least 240x240px, no text-heavy designs.
  • Tagline: one sentence saying what the product does, not a slogan.
  • Description: a few paragraphs covering the problem, the solution, and who it is for.
  • Screenshots: a featured image at 1200x675 or larger; a short demo video helps.
  • Category and tags: pick the category your buyers would browse, not the broadest one.

Skip this step if you go Premium. For the free Basic Launch, add a link to launchit.fast on your website before submitting, since we verify it during review. The easiest way is a badge in your footer; a plain text link works too. Leave the link dofollow (no rel="nofollow").

4. Submit for review

Go to Submit, choose Basic or Premium, and fill in the listing. Our team reviews every submission; most products are accepted unless they are poorly designed, duplicates, custom GPTs, spammy, or NSFW. Once accepted, your product goes live on its launch date in Launching Now and on the homepage.

5. After your launch

  • Share your tool page on launch day; votes and reviews in the first hours drive homepage ranking.
  • Watch your dashboard for views and clicks; traffic from LaunchIt arrives tagged with ref=launchit.
  • Switch your badge from Launching Soon to Live Now, then to Featured On after launch week.
  • Consider Featured ($39/month) if you want to stay on the homepage after your launch window.
