How Launches Work on LaunchIt

A launch puts your product on the LaunchIt homepage and in the Launching Now feed. There are three ways to launch: Basic (free), Premium, and Featured.

A launch is your product's debut on LaunchIt: a dedicated tool page, a spot in the Launching Now feed, and exposure on the homepage where the community votes and reviews new products.

The three launch options

  • Basic Launch (free). Your product is listed with standard homepage exposure. In exchange, you add a backlink to LaunchIt on your website and display one of our badges. Submissions without the backlink are not accepted.
  • Premium Launch ($9, one-time). Skips the backlink requirement and adds a verified badge on your listing, more prominent placement across the site, a dedicated social media post, and long-term homepage traffic.
  • Featured ($39/month). For products that are already listed. Featured products appear in the premium Featured section on the homepage, in tool page sidebars, and at the top of category and search results. Cancel anytime.

Compare the options and start a submission on the Submit page.

What happens after you submit

  • Review. Our team checks every submission. We accept most products, but reject poorly designed sites, duplicates, custom GPTs, spammy sites, and NSFW content. Basic Launch submissions are also checked for the required backlink.
  • Going live. Once accepted, your product appears on the homepage and in Launching Now on its launch date, where the community can upvote and review it.
  • If a paid submission is rejected, you get a full refund. After a product is accepted and listed, refunds are no longer possible.

What every launch gets

  • A dofollow backlink. Your tool page links to your site without rel="nofollow", so the link passes authority. See dofollow vs nofollow.
  • Trackable traffic. Clicks to your site carry ref=launchit and UTM parameters, so you can attribute visitors in your analytics.
  • A permanent listing. Your tool page stays up after launch day and keeps collecting votes, reviews, and search traffic.
  • Community exposure. Makers and early adopters browse the feed daily; strong launches also make the newsletter.
