The free website audit for startups
Is your site ready to be found? Paste your URL: you get the SEO fixes with the code to paste, your Ahrefs Domain Rating, and where you are listed.
What the audit checks
18 checks, in four areas, plus your Domain Rating
Each check is something a search engine or a social platform reads the moment it visits your page. Every one that fails comes back with why it matters, how long the fix takes and, where it helps, the code to paste.

Paste your URL
Your homepage, or any public page. We read the HTML your server returns, the way a search engine sees it on its first visit.
Work down the fixes
They are ordered by impact and most take minutes. Copy the code, or copy the whole list into your editor or AI assistant.
Run it again, then get found
Re-run after each deploy to watch the score climb. Then put the fixed page where founders and buyers look: LaunchIt and the strongest directories.
Questions
About the website audit
Built by LaunchIt, where founders launch their products every week. The checks are the same engine as our SEO Checker; the Domain Rating comes live from Ahrefs.
What is a website audit?
A website audit checks a page against the things search engines and social platforms read first: title and description, headings, canonical and indexing tags, sharing tags, structured data, HTTPS, mobile setup, speed and robots.txt. This one adds your Ahrefs Domain Rating and where your product is listed, so you see both what to fix and where you can be found.
Is the website audit free?
Yes. It is free, with no signup and no email to give. Run it as often as you like, for example after each fix, to see the score move.
How is it different from the SEO Checker?
The SEO Checker audits any single page and links each failing check to a generator. The website audit is built for startups: it adds the code to paste for each fix and how long it takes, previews of how you look in Google and when shared, your Domain Rating on a scale, and whether you are on LaunchIt and the strongest directories.
Why is my Domain Rating low?
Domain Rating, from Ahrefs, reflects how many sites link to yours and how strong they are. New products start near zero: it builds over months as people mention, review and write about you. A low number on a young domain is normal, not a verdict.
Does it check my whole site?
It reads the page you enter, the way a search engine first sees it (the HTML your server returns, without running JavaScript), plus your robots.txt and your Domain Rating. Most sites share a layout across pages, so auditing your homepage and one page of each template covers most of what matters.
How do I get my product on LaunchIt?
If the audit says you are not on LaunchIt yet, you can launch in about two minutes. A Premium launch ($14.99, one payment) lets you pick your launch date, guarantees home page placement that day and features you in the newsletter. You can also launch for free through the review queue.
