Submitting a tool is free, and the FAQ says affiliate links and newsletter sponsors 'help keep this site free for both people looking for tools and those who want to submit tools.' Featured listings (at most two a week, pinned to the top of the tools directory), site banners and newsletter sponsorships are sold separately, with pricing sent on request by email and not published.

- Form fields: tool name, tool URL, short description, category, pricing type (Free, Freemium, Paid, Open Source), email, CAPTCHA
- Must be publicly available; 'waitlist only' products are not accepted

- Must be a software tool: no newsletters, tool aggregators, blogs, or Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp bots
- Concepts already listed many times, low-effort websites and sites that look like scams or have many poor reviews are usually rejected
- Wait at least a week before resubmitting; resubmitting sooner 'will almost guarantee we will not add it'

Tips
Getting the most out of futuretools
- Make your homepage describe the product clearly, because the listing summary is generated by AI from your homepage content.
- Set a good Open Graph image, since it becomes your listing image (otherwise a homepage screenshot is used).
- Submit only once the product is publicly available, and if it is not listed after a week, resubmit once rather than repeatedly.
