How I took a domain from DR 26 to 47 in five weeks
No announcement this time. Just the actual playbook, since a few of you have asked.
Five weeks ago LaunchIt was DR 26. Today it's 47. Here's everything I did, in order of what actually mattered.
1. Directory submissions, relentlessly
This is the boring one nobody wants to hear. I submitted LaunchIt to every relevant directory I could find. Not 10. Closer to 100. Most take five minutes and half never approve you. Do it anyway.
2. Free tools that people search for
I built free tools and gave them their own pages. People search for these directly, they link to them naturally, and they bring traffic that has nothing to do with my product.
3. Every listing creates a page
Each product launched on LaunchIt gets its own indexed page. 51 launches this month means 51 new pages Google can find. The product and the SEO strategy are the same thing.
4. Publish comparison content
Posts like "SaaSHub alternatives" rank because people search for them and other sites cite them. Low effort, high return.
What didn't work
Paid ads. I ran them for a different product for weeks, got conversions, and the CPA never made sense. SEO cost me nothing but time and it's still compounding.
The part most founders get wrong
Nothing happens for the first month. You submit everywhere, publish, wait, and the number doesn't move. Most people quit right there. Month two is when it starts.
If you want a dofollow link from a DR 47 domain to start your own climb, that's what LaunchIt is for: launchit.fast
Or if you'd rather not do the submitting yourself, we handle 100+ directories: launchit.fast/submission-service
Go ship something.
