What 140 launches taught me in one month
Hey,
140 products launched on LaunchIt this month. I read every single submission. Here's what separates the ones people click from the ones they scroll past.
1. The one-liner decides everything
The best descriptions say what the product does in plain words. "Turns your podcast into short clips."
The weakest ones say how it feels. "Revolutionizing content workflows with AI." Nobody clicks a feeling.
2. Specific beats clever
"Invoice tool for freelancers in the EU" gets more clicks than "The smartest way to get paid." A narrow description filters in the right people.
3. The logo matters more than you think
Listings with a clean square logo get noticeably more attention than stretched, cropped or text-only ones. It's the first thing the eye lands on in a list.
4. Founders who share their page win twice
The ones who post their LaunchIt page on X or LinkedIn get more votes, more visits, and their page gets crawled faster. Traffic tells Google the page matters.
5. Most people launch once and disappear
The founders who come back, relaunch, add a deal or grab a Billboard spot keep getting seen. Visibility isn't an event, it's a habit.
