You shipped. Nobody noticed. Now what?

I know how this week went for some of you.

You shipped something you were proud of. You wrote the post. You hit publish. And then you watched the number sit there, barely moving, while someone else's screenshot did 200k views.

That gap between the work and the reward is the hardest part of this whole thing. Nobody prepares you for it.

Here's the thing I keep coming back to: the work you did this week doesn't disappear because nobody clapped. I have a product I abandoned in February. No marketing, no posts, no updates. It started selling on its own six months later because of SEO work I'd forgotten I did.

But that only happened because Google knew the site existed in the first place.

That's the part most people skip. If nothing links to you, there's nothing for Google to find. No pages describing what you built, no sites pointing at it, no reason for anyone to stumble into it. Directories fix that, and they're the cheapest fix there is.

If you have no budget at all, the LaunchIt billboard is $15. Your product sits on the homepage of a DR 47 site, live in 60 seconds, and the listing never expires.

The reward and the effort almost never arrive on the same day. That's not a sign you're doing it wrong. But being invisible is fixable this afternoon.

Have a proper weekend. See people who don't ask about your MRR.
