My wife is a chef and was complaining about having to collect fun recipes she finds in google docs and screenshots because all the apps she tried limited how many recipes she could save or she wasn't easily able to get them loaded. She asked if I could help find a better solution. Well here it is, Platefolio! Because I've been fascinated by Cooking for Engineer charts in the past, I decided to add that layout. Then I thought, why stop there? Wouldn't it be cool to choose how to view any recipe? So I added the ability to view any recipe in the app in 5 different ways. Traditional, a clean web layout Notecard, a printable, nostalgic 4x6 index card Flowchart, a Cooking-for-Engineers style table where ingredients enter on the left and merge into each step Rails, the same flowchart from above drawn as vertical tracks that merge. Mobile friendly version of Cooking-for-Engineers chart Cook mode, one step at a time with checkable ingredients and steps that remembers where you left off
