Fazier Alternatives: 12 Launch Platforms Compared on Wait, Rules, Price and DR (2026)
Fazier asks for a link back and up to 30 days for a free launch. 12 alternatives compared on wait, rules, price and Domain Rating, checked Sept 2026.
On this page
Checked on 22 September 2026. Queue times, prices and rules come from each platform's own pages, and the Domain Rating figures are live Ahrefs numbers from the same day (DevHunt's price sits inside its submission flow and was last checked on 17 September). Anything a platform does not publish is marked as such. Disclosure: LaunchIt is our platform, so weigh our entry accordingly.
Fazier is one of the busier daily launch boards for indie products. New launches go live at midnight Pacific, there are daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards, and when we counted in September, June 2026 alone had 375 launches. Its advertising page reports 950,000+ visits from founders, 7,500+ products launched and 2,500+ newsletter subscribers. It also carries one of the highest Domain Ratings in the category (83 when we checked), which is why so many "where to launch" lists put it near the top.
The reasons founders go looking for Fazier alternatives are practical, and they come from Fazier's own submission page rather than from any complaint about the community. A free launch asks for a link to Fazier on your homepage or footer (the site auto-detects the badge before approving you), it is reviewed and listed within 30 days rather than on a date you pick, and a home page feature happens only if the team selects you. Publishing now, or scheduling a date, is a one-time payment: Lite at $29 (shown struck through from $39) drops the badge requirement and features you on the home page; Premium at $49 adds 15 days of promotion across the site and a guaranteed high-authority backlink; Super at $99 puts you at the top of the home page as a sponsor for 15 days with a dofollow link. If you want a fixed date without paying, do not want a third-party link on your site, or want to launch again before six months have passed, you need somewhere else. This guide compares the twelve places we would send you, on the four things that matter: how long the free way in takes, what it asks of you, what the cheapest paid way in costs, and the Domain Rating of the site.
Why founders look past Fazier
- The link-back requirement. A free launch on Fazier means placing a link to Fazier on your site. One badge is harmless; a footer full of them from every platform that asks is not a good look, and a few founders simply do not want a third-party link on their landing page.
- You do not choose the date. Free submissions are reviewed and listed within 30 days. If your announcement, newsletter and social push are planned for a specific day, that is a problem, and the fix costs $29.
- Home page featuring is selective. Being listed and being featured are different things on Fazier. A free launch is guaranteed the first, not the second.
- Six months between relaunches. Fazier's help centre allows launching the same product again only after a six-month gap, and only if it has improved considerably. A big release in month three has to wait, or go elsewhere.
- Crowded days. 375 launches in a month is a dozen a day. A product without an audience can go live and get very little attention, which is true of every daily board and is the strongest argument for launching on more than one.
None of this makes Fazier a bad choice. It is one of the better free boards if you accept the badge and the 30 days. But most founders should treat it as one stop on a route, and the rest of this article is the route.
All 12 alternatives, side by side
Sorted by Domain Rating because that is the number people ask about first. It describes the whole site, not your listing page; audience fit and how long you stay visible will decide what a launch is worth to you. Our Domain Rating guide covers what the number can and cannot tell you.

If you want a fixed date without paying
Product Hunt
Still the biggest stage and still free: you pick any date within the next month, there is no queue and no badge requirement. What you do not get is a guarantee of home page featuring, and the day is noisy, so a product with no audience can launch on Product Hunt and reach almost nobody. It rewards preparation more than any other platform here. We wrote up the trade-offs in Product Hunt vs LaunchIt and keep a wider list at Product Hunt alternatives. The best use of Product Hunt is last, after the copy and the onboarding have been tested somewhere smaller.
Show HN
Free, instant, and the highest-authority link on this list, with strict conditions: the post has to be something you made that people can try, and the community punishes marketing copy. If your product is technical and you can write a plain, honest paragraph about how it works, Show HN can outperform every launch board combined. If it is not, skip it rather than post and be ignored.
Peerlist Launchpad
A weekly launch every Monday with no queue and no fee. The price of entry is a verified personal profile on Peerlist, which is quick for an individual founder and awkward for a company account. The audience is developers and designers, so it fits developer tools far better than consumer apps. Our Peerlist Launchpad alternatives post covers what to do when the verified profile is in the way.
If you want to skip the queue for less than $29
Uneed ($14.99 Fast-track)
Uneed's free line is long (30 days to 5 months, and you need an upvote score of 10 on the day to stay published), but its Fast-track at $14.99 gets you a slot in about two weeks, and Skip the line at $29.99 gets you one right away. No link-back is required. The catch is the vote threshold on the free line, which punishes products without an audience. Full detail, including the rules for keeping a followed link, is in Uneed alternatives.
LaunchIgniter ($12)
The cheapest paid slot we found. The free route asks for a badge and does not guarantee a date; $12 does. It is a weekly board with a smaller audience than Fazier, so treat it as one of the several you launch on, not the one you plan around.
Scroll Launch ($19)
Weekly, with 20 free slots a week that go quickly and a $19 paid slot when they are gone. Note that Scroll Launch keeps your link followed only while their badge is on your site, which is the same link exchange Fazier asks for, framed differently.
LaunchIt ($14.99, ours)
Our platform, so read this with that in mind. Free listings go through a review queue and ask for a badge; Premium ($14.99) publishes without the wait and without the badge. What we built to be different is what happens after the day: every product keeps a permanent listing page with its own reviews, comparisons and stats, sits on a monthly leaderboard rather than a 24-hour one, and stays discoverable long after launch day. Our Domain Rating is the lowest on this list and we would rather you knew that than found out. The pricing page has every option, and submitting takes a couple of minutes.
If you want a fixed date and can wait a month
TinyLaunch ($39 to skip)
Weekly launches with a free wait of about four weeks and $39 to jump it. No badge on the free tier, and a followed link that TinyLaunch reserves for the week's top three. Similar audience to Fazier, a calmer week than a Product Hunt day. The comparison with our own platform is in LaunchIt vs TinyLaunch.
StartupBase ($39 to pick a date)
Running since 2017 and one of the clearer offers: free in 4 to 5 weeks if you add their badge (10 or more weeks without), $39 to pick a date within 30 days. Their FAQ says that paying buys clearly labelled slots, not a place in the organic ranking, which is the right way to run a board.
PitchWall ($49)
The site that used to be BetaPage. A daily feed rather than a leaderboard, with a minimum 30-day wait for a free listing and $49 to go faster. Worth it mainly if you are already collecting beta users and want another feed of them.
If you want a longer window than one day
MicroLaunch ($49 Pro)
Launches are grouped into monthly cohorts and each campaign runs for 30 days, which suits a small product that would vanish in an afternoon on a daily board. The free queue is 2 to 3 months or more and the Pro launch is $49. Our MicroLaunch alternatives post has the detail.
DevHunt ($49)
A weekly board for developer tools, with voting behind a GitHub or Google login to keep it clean, and winners featured in a weekly newsletter. Its pricing is not on a public page; it appears when you pick a launch week inside the submission flow, and when we checked on 17 September the rule was that a launch is free in a week with fewer than 15 tools and $49 in a busier one. Combine it with Show HN and Peerlist if your buyer is a developer, and skip all three if not.
A word about links
Fazier's badge requirement is the reason many founders search for alternatives, so it is worth being precise about what you get in return. On Fazier itself, the submission page promises a backlink only on paid tiers: for the day's top three products on Lite, guaranteed on Premium, and described as dofollow on Super. What a free listing's link looks like is not published. Elsewhere, followed links are conditional almost everywhere: Uneed keeps one from an upvote score of 10 or 20 depending on the tier, TinyLaunch for a top-three finish with their badge, LaunchIgniter, Open Launch and Firsto for the week's top three, and Scroll Launch while their badge is on your site. Product Hunt and Show HN have no paid tier and make no promise about links at all. If a followed link is the point of your launch, read our dofollow vs nofollow explainer and check the listing yourself after it goes live rather than trusting a pricing page. If visibility is the point, the badge is a small price and the link is a side effect.
How to use this list
The move most founders miss: submit to Fazier's free queue now, then launch elsewhere while it is being reviewed. Nothing here asks for exclusivity. A sequence that works for a small product:
- This week: submit to Fazier (free, badge on) and to Uneed's free line, so both clocks start. Launch on LaunchIt so you have a live, indexable listing and a first round of feedback.
- Weeks 2 to 4: one weekly platform (Peerlist if your users are developers or designers, TinyLaunch otherwise). Post a Show HN if the product is technical enough to survive it.
- When Fazier lists you: tell your list that morning, Pacific time, so the launch day counts on the monthly leaderboard.
- Last: Product Hunt, once the copy, the onboarding and the launch-day routine have been tested everywhere else.
The full map, with every platform we track, is in where to launch your startup in 2026. Before any of these, run the launch checklist, because a broken signup flow wastes a launch day on any platform. And if you would rather hand the long tail of directories to someone else, our submission service lists you on 30 to 100 of them and sends a report with every live link.
Frequently asked questions
Is Fazier free?
Yes, with conditions. A free launch requires a link to Fazier on your homepage or footer, is reviewed and listed within 30 days, and gets a home page feature only if selected. Publishing immediately is a one-time payment: Lite $29, Premium $49 or Super $99, as listed on the submission page in September 2026. A separate newsletter sponsorship is $39.
How long does Fazier take to list a free submission?
Fazier's submit page says free submissions are reviewed and listed within 30 days. It does not publish a queue length or assign a date in advance. Paid launches publish now or on a date you schedule. Launches go live at midnight Pacific.
Does Fazier give a dofollow backlink?
The submission page ties the backlink to paid tiers: Lite mentions a high-authority backlink for the day's top three products, Premium a guaranteed high-authority backlink, and Super a dofollow backlink. For a free listing the page says nothing about the link attribute, so check your own listing once it is live.
What is the best free alternative to Fazier?
For a fixed date with no badge and no queue, Product Hunt. For a technical product, Show HN. For a weekly launch with a developer audience, Peerlist Launchpad, if you can verify a personal profile. For a listing that stays useful after the day, LaunchIt.
Which Fazier alternatives do not require a badge or link back?
Product Hunt, Show HN, Peerlist Launchpad, Uneed, TinyLaunch, PitchWall, MicroLaunch and DevHunt do not ask for a badge on the free tier. LaunchIgniter, Scroll Launch, StartupBase (for the shorter wait) and LaunchIt (free tier) do. Paid tiers usually remove the requirement.
Can I launch on Fazier and on its alternatives at the same time?
Yes. None of these platforms asks for exclusivity. Spread launches over a few weeks rather than one day: each one teaches you something about your pitch, and you can only ask your audience to show up so many times.
